The conference started with a roar. I went to see Joshua Kerievsky talk about ‘selling Agile’. It was really good. A few good stories, some great ideas and some really interesting thoughts on selling made this more than a decent start. The second half of the day wasn’t that good.
I had signed up for ‘Refactoring databases’. Scott Ambler was supposed to present this tutorial but he was replaced with Pramod Sadalage, co-author of “Refactoring Databases …”, with Scott. I think it would’ve been better if the two of them, Pramod and Scott did this together.
It was slow. I felt I didn’t really learn anything so I left half way through.
Kinda disappointed with the afternoon I hooked up with my colleagues and headed for the Agile Café instead.
